The Isak wool blanket by the Norwegian manufacturer Røros Tweed is reminiscent of the seats of classic Shaker chairs with its braided look. The pattern of the Isak blanket by designers Anderssen & Voll was created in 2016 and was part of the "Furnishing Uptopia" research project. The venue for the workshop was the Hancock Shaker Village in the USA, which served as a source of inspiration with its iconic Shaker chairs. The aim of the design studio was to implement the look of the colorfully woven cotton bands of the classic chairs within a decorative blanket.
